01
Full Inspection
We walk the attic, crawl space, garage, kitchen, and exterior perimeter with flashlights and inspection mirrors, looking for droppings, gnaw marks, grease rubs, and entry gaps. Thermal imaging cameras help us find nesting spots inside walls. The inspection takes 30 to 45 minutes on a typical Fort Pierce home and ends with a written findings list.
02
Trapping Setup
We place Victor snap traps, glue boards, and live catch traps along the runways mice actually use, which are usually within 10 feet of a wall. Bait stations with Contrac or Finale blocks go in attics and garages where pets and kids cannot reach them. Traps get checked and reset on a set schedule, usually every 3 to 5 days until activity stops.
03
Exclusion Sealing
Once we know where mice are getting in, we seal those points with copper mesh, steel wool, and exterior-grade caulk. Door sweeps go on garage and exterior doors, vent covers go over dryer and foundation vents, and chimney caps close off the flue. This step is what makes the fix permanent instead of a temporary trap-out.
04
Sanitation and Deodorizing
We remove droppings, contaminated insulation, and nesting material, then apply disinfectant and deodorizer to the affected areas. Attics and crawl spaces get a full treatment because that is where the odor lingers. If insulation damage is severe, we document it and can replace it as a separate repair.
05
Follow-Up and Warranty
We return 7 to 14 days after the initial service to check traps, confirm activity has stopped, and re-seal any points we missed. Exclusion work carries a warranty, and if mice get back in through a sealed point during the warranty period, we come back at no charge. You get a written report at the end.
