01
Phone Intake
You call (772) 365-9826 and tell us what you are hearing or seeing: scratching at night, droppings in the pantry, a smell in the attic. We ask the age of the home and whether it is pier-and-beam or slab, because that changes the inspection route. Most calls get a same-day or next-day appointment window.
02
Full Exterior Inspection
A licensed technician walks the entire perimeter with a flashlight and inspection mirror, checking the foundation line, soffits, roof penetrations, dryer and bath vents, garage door corners, and utility chases. We photograph every gap and note the size. A typical Fort Pierce home inspection takes 45 to 75 minutes depending on square footage and roofline complexity.
03
Interior And Attic Sweep
We go into the attic and crawl space with a flashlight and thermal imaging camera to find nesting sites, runways, and droppings. Thermal imaging shows us where warm air escapes, which is often where mice are entering. We mark active runs, set snap traps and glue boards in non-traffic areas, and record everything for the report.
04
Sealing And Proofing
This is the core of the job. We pack copper mesh and steel wool into gaps, install rodent-proof vent covers and chimney caps, fit door sweeps on garage and exterior doors, and seal plumbing and A/C penetrations with exterior-grade caulk. Most homes take two to four hours of sealing work. We use Victor, Tomcat, and JT Eaton hardware where traps stay in place.
05
Verification And Report
Before we leave, we re-walk the exterior to confirm every documented gap is closed, then set monitoring stations at the highest-risk points. You get a written report with photos, a list of what was sealed, and a warranty term. We schedule a follow-up check 14 to 21 days out to confirm no new activity.
